17. DICE ocenenia

Piatok 7. februára odovzdávala akadémia interaktívnych umelcov a vedcov v Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, tohtoročné DICE ocenenia.

DICE (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) ocenenia sú oscary herného priemyslu a nemajú okrem mena nič spoločné so švédskym výrobcom hier. Sedemnástym oceneniam dominovala konzolová hra The Last Of Us. Akčná hororová strielačka z tretej osoby od vývojárov Naughty Dog vytvorená podľa rovnomenného filmu pre PlayStation 3, si odniesla celkovo 10 ocenení. Vrátane ocenenia najlepšia hra roku.

Najväčší konkurent, GTA 5, si odniesol iba ocenenie v jednej kategórii (Outstanding Achievement in Gameplay Engineering). Rockstar, stojaci za vývojom, by to mal vedieť prekonať, veď doteraz bolo predaných vyše 30 miliónov kópií tejto hry.

Kontroverzné sú ocenenia hier Diablo 3 a FIFA 14. V oboch prípadoch by sa určite našli vhodnejší kandidáti. Kompletný zoznam ocenených hier s príslušnou kategóriou nájdete nižšie. Za zmienku ešte dvojica ocenení pre hru BioShock Infinite od Irrational Games a po Golden Joystick Awards ďalšie ocenenie v ketegórii Online Game pre tankovú MMO od Wargaming.net, World of Tanks.
